A starting point for new readers.
A scene based deck is usually the easiest first deck, because the pictures carry the meaning while you are still learning. Two habits are worth more than any book: draw one card a day and write down what you make of it, and get to know one deck well rather than owning a shelf you barely touch.
The atlas holds an entry for every card, major and minor, with its correspondences to the planets, the elements, the sephiroth and the decans, so a card can be approached from whichever system you already know. Lenormand, geomancy, runes and the I Ching are here too, for anyone reading a second system alongside tarot.
Questions are welcome in this room, and so are the decks and books that worked for you.
