Part One is the terms of use and applies to everybody who reads this site. Part Two is the terms of sale and applies when you buy something. Part Three applies to both.

These apply to everybody who reads this site, whether or not they have an account and whether or not they buy anything.

Who These Terms Cover

Everybody who opens a page here.

This part is the agreement between you and Divinity Atlas for the ordinary use of the site: reading the atlas, searching it, using the tools built on it, and taking part in anything a member can take part in. It applies from the first page you open. You do not need an account for it to apply, and you do not need to have bought anything.

If you do not accept these terms, the remedy is to stop using the site. There is nothing here you can decline while continuing to read.

Using the Site

Read it, quote it with attribution, link to it. Do not scrape it, break it, or pretend to be somebody else.

What you may do. Read every public page, search it, follow its links, save entries to a reading list, print or save a page for your own use, quote it reasonably with attribution, link to it from anywhere, and use the embed tool to place a card from the atlas on your own page. None of that needs permission and none of it is charged for.

What you may not do. Copy the dataset wholesale or systematically. Run automated collection against the site, including crawlers, scrapers and headless browsers, other than a well-behaved search engine crawler obeying our robots file. Circumvent, disable or probe any security or access control, including anything that gates a paid report. Attempt to reach data belonging to another member. Interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on, including by overloading it. Impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to anyone. Use the site to send unsolicited advertising, or to collect other members' details for use elsewhere. Use the site for anything unlawful.

Third-party material. Some of what you reach from here is not ours: the music player streams through YouTube under YouTube's terms, and outbound links go to sites we do not run. We do not control or endorse them, and their terms and privacy policies are theirs rather than ours.

Enforcement. Breaking this section may mean losing access, with or without notice, by whatever technical means is proportionate. Where an account is involved, the strikes procedure under community conduct is the normal path.

What the Atlas Is, and What It Does Not Claim

A reference work about traditions, written with care and marked openly where it is uncertain. Not a statement that any of it is true.

The atlas describes religions, symbolic systems, divinatory traditions and their correspondences on their own terms: what practitioners and scholars of a tradition hold, rather than what we assert about the world. Describing a belief is not endorsing it, and setting two traditions beside each other is not ranking them.

Entries carry their sources, and where scholarship disagrees, or where nobody has an answer at all, the entry says so instead of choosing for you. Even so, a reference work of this size contains mistakes, and living traditions change faster than entries about them. Nothing here is warranted to be complete, current or free of error. If something is wrong, tell us; corrections are welcome and are how the atlas gets better.

Some traditions treat particular practices as closed. Where the atlas names a practice as closed it says so rather than reconstructing it, and it stays a description rather than an instruction. Nothing on this site is a manual.

These Readings Are Not Advice

Nothing in a reading is a diagnosis, a prognosis, a prediction of any actual event, or a statement of fact about you or anyone else. This is stated firmly, and it is not an apology for the material: a tradition can be worth studying carefully and still be the wrong thing to bring to a medical decision.

This section sits in the terms of use, not only in the terms of sale, because it covers the atlas itself as much as it covers a report. You do not have to buy anything to read a page about a herb, a rite or a remedy.

Your Account

One person, one account. You choose what your profile shows. You can delete the account yourself.

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give accurate details when you register - if the email address is wrong you will not be able to reset your password. One person, one account.

Your profile. An account comes with a member profile, and you choose what goes on it - a display name, an avatar, a location, and lists you pick such as beliefs, practices, favourites and quiz activity. Profiles are public by default; each item can be hidden on its own, or shared with named friend groups, or the whole profile made private, from your account. Communities you join appear on a public profile too, and can be hidden with the same per-item controls. An avatar and anything else you put on a profile must follow the community conduct rules, and profile content that breaks them may be removed. Accounts used for fraud, for abuse of other members, or to attack the site can be restricted, suspended or closed as that section describes, and where we act we record the reason.

Closing your account. You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from your account's Security page. Deletion takes effect immediately: you are signed out everywhere, your profile disappears, and your access to the site - including reports you have bought - ends. For 30 days the account can be restored if you email us from the account's own address; after that, your username and profile address are permanently retired and will never be issued to anyone else. Deleting is not the same as erasing: public content you wrote remains on the site, shown as "Deleted member", payment records are kept for tax and dispute handling, and genuine erasure of your data remains available on request. The full picture, including how to ask for erasure, is in the Privacy Policy. No refund is due when an account is closed for breaking the conduct rules.

Forum and Comments

You own what you post. You are responsible for it. We can remove it.

Your responsibility. What you post is yours - your words, your claims, your risk. Post nothing unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, obscene, or infringing of someone else's copyright. Do not post other people's private information, including their birth details. Do not spam, advertise, or scrape the forum. Do not use the forum to give medical, legal or financial advice, or to solicit it. How you treat other members - in the forum and everywhere else on the site - is governed by the community conduct rules below.

Moderation. Posts and comments may be edited, hidden, locked or removed at the operator's discretion, and comments can be reported by other members for review. Strikes, suspensions and account closures work as described under community conduct. We are not obliged to moderate, and we do not endorse or verify anything a member posts - opinions in the forum are the poster's, not ours.

Messages are private, not secret. Direct and group messages are shown only to the people in the conversation. But anyone who receives a message can copy it or share it - that is true of every messaging system ever built, and no term of ours can prevent it - so write accordingly. We do not read private messages in the ordinary course of running the site; they are accessed only to investigate abuse, to protect the security of the service, or where the law requires it.

The licence you grant. You keep ownership and copyright in what you post. By posting you grant Divinity Atlas a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to store, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and distribute your post as part of the site, including in search results, archives and quotations of the thread. The same licence covers what you put on your profile, your avatar, and your messages, in each case only as far as running the site requires - storing them, showing your profile to those allowed to see it, delivering your messages to the people in the conversation. Perpetual and irrevocable is the honest word for it: threads are conversations, and a post that vanished years later would take other people's replies with it. This licence is only for running and presenting the site - it does not let us sell your writing or license it on to anyone else, and it does not stop you posting the same words elsewhere. If you want a post removed, ask, and we will normally remove it.

Community Conduct and Respect for Beliefs

Question any idea. Respect every person. Three strikes closes an account - or fewer, for the worst conduct.

Divinity Atlas covers many religions, spiritual paths, practices, symbolic systems, non-religious viewpoints and personal identities - and its members hold all of them. You are welcome to disagree with, question, compare or criticise any idea you find here. You must treat the people who hold it, and their sincerely held beliefs, with dignity.

What is allowed. Good-faith discussion and criticism of beliefs, including firm criticism. Disagreement with an idea, or offence taken at one, is not automatically bullying. When we judge whether conduct crosses the line we look at context, severity, repetition, any imbalance of power, whether a particular person was targeted, and whether there is a credible risk to anyone's safety - so this rule cannot be used to shut down respectful discussion by declaring it offensive.

What is not. Targeted ridicule or contempt aimed at a person or their faith, demeaning stereotypes, slurs, hostile proselytising, pressing arguments on someone who has made clear they are unwanted, dogpiling, bullying, harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, impersonation, disclosing someone's private information, sexual or otherwise inappropriate comments, obscene content, discriminatory abuse, and encouraging harm to anyone. This applies across the whole site: do not use a profile, display name, avatar, comment, forum post, message, friend request, group conversation, community, community event, challenge, or any other feature to get around these rules or to target another member.

Reporting. If you see abusive content, report it - profiles, avatars, messages, usernames and comments can all be reported. Do not retaliate, do not encourage a pile-on, and do not knowingly file a false or malicious report; that is itself a violation.

Enforcement. We may remove or restrict content, warn you, limit features, suspend your account, or close it permanently and ban you from the site. The normal path is three strikes:

• A confirmed violation normally earns one documented strike, with a notice telling you which rule was broken. A first or second strike may also carry content removal, a warning, a temporary restriction of features, or a proportionate temporary suspension.
• A third active strike closes the account permanently and bans you from the site.
• Multiple violations arising from one incident count as one strike, unless they are genuinely separate acts or harm separate people.
• Strikes expire 12 months after they are issued.
• If you believe a strike was issued in error, appeal through the contact page. A reversed strike is void and no longer counts. We do not promise a response time.
• You can see your active strike count in your account's Security page, together with what a further violation would mean.

Three strikes is the normal path, not a guarantee. Severe misconduct - credible threats, stalking, disclosing private information, sexual exploitation, illegal content, serious discriminatory abuse, coordinated harassment, fraud, attacks on the service, or anything posing an urgent risk to someone's safety - may mean immediate suspension or a permanent ban with no prior strike.

Creating a new account to evade a ban, or to continue conduct that got another account restricted, is forbidden, and the replacement account may be removed. Enforcement may happen without advance notice where that is needed to protect users or the service. Appeals go to the contact page; no response time is promised.

We do not promise to screen content before it appears, and we could not read everything if we tried. You remain responsible for what you post or send.

Availability and Changes to the Site

It is one person's site. It will sometimes be down, and it will keep changing.

The site is provided as it is and as it happens to be available. We do not promise it will be reachable at any particular time, that any feature will keep working the way it does today, or that anything published will stay published. Pages, features, entries and prices may be added, changed, moved or withdrawn without notice. Where we can give notice of something that would cost you access you have paid for, we will.

Maintenance, hosting failures and third-party outages all happen, and none of them entitles anyone to compensation beyond what liability below sets out. If access to something you bought is interrupted, the remedy is under delivery and access: the report can be generated again from your account at no extra charge.

We may suspend or end your access to the site, or close your account, where you have broken these terms, where it is needed to protect other members or the service, or where the law requires it.

These apply when you buy something: a report, a printed copy, or a gift for someone else.

What You Are Buying

A written reading, generated for your chart, covering the sections you chose.

You are buying one personalized report: a written synthesis produced for the birth details you enter, drawing on this site's own body of correspondence data - planets, signs, decans, dignities, aspects, fixed stars, tarot, the sephiroth and paths, the Hebrew, Greek and Roman alphabets, numbers, elements, metals, trigrams, chakras, plants, gemstones, colours, animals and deities - across the disciplines and traditions you selected. It also covers the meaning and etymology of your names, and the heraldic history attached to your surname, where the sections you bought call for it.

Reports are sold in three shapes:

• Fixed packages. A named package covers a set list of sections at a single price.
• Custom. You pick individual sections and the price is the sum of those sections' prices.
• Multi-person readings. A relationship or family reading covers several people plus the interactions between them. It is one order at one price. Each person can be set to a different depth, and the price is calculated from the number of people, the number of interactions, and the depth chosen for each.

In every case the price is calculated on the server from the published prices at the moment you order. The running total shown in your browser is a display convenience; the amount charged is the one the server calculates. What you buy is recorded against your account so that the report can be regenerated later with exactly the sections you paid for - a later change to what a package contains does not widen or narrow a report you have already bought.

What you buy is a report, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge.

What a Reading Is - and How It Is Made

Two things are true at once here, and both belong in plain sight.

The first is that this site takes its subject seriously. The correspondences it publishes are not decoration. They are drawn from real traditions - Hellenistic and Vedic astrology, the Chinese calendar, Kabbalah, alchemy, the tarot, the runes, the I Ching, and the theologies of the world's religions - each of which has its own scholarship, its own internal logic and its own centuries of practitioners. The atlas describes what those traditions hold, on their own terms, and the readings are written the same way: with warmth and precision, giving strengths and difficulties both, rather than flattery.

The second is that a reading is a reading. It is an interpretation within a symbolic and divinatory system. This site makes no claim that astrology, numerology, tarot or any other tradition here predicts events, describes your character as a matter of fact, or has been shown to work by scientific method. What a reading offers is a considered account of what these traditions say about someone born as you were - offered for interest, for reflection, and for the pleasure of the systems themselves.

Reports are written by a large language model - Claude, from Anthropic - working from your chart and this site's data. The model is instructed to ground itself in the supplied data and not to invent correspondences, but it is software, and like all such software it can be wrong, uneven, or repetitive. Two reports from the same chart will not be word-for-word identical. Read a report as a generated interpretation, not as a document checked line by line by a human being. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is sent to generate it.

Everything under not advice in Part One applies to every report, and is the most important thing on this page.

Price and Payment

Prices are shown on the site before you pay, in US dollars, and are the amounts you will be charged. Payment is taken by Authorize.Net, PayPal or Apple Pay. Your card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach this server - see the Privacy Policy.

Access is granted only after the payment provider confirms the payment. A declined or failed attempt grants nothing. If you are charged but do not receive access, contact us with the transaction reference and we will resolve it.

Any tax due on the sale is your responsibility unless the site states that a price includes it.

Delivery and Access

Your report is generated after payment and shown to you in your browser. Generation takes a little time - the model is writing a long document - and occasionally fails; if it does, the report can be generated again from your account at no extra charge.

Access is one-time purchase, ongoing access: your entitlement does not expire on a date. It lasts as long as your account and this site do. That is not a promise that the site will exist forever, and it is not a licence you can transfer to someone else. If you want a permanent copy, download or print it. Where a PDF download is offered, take it.

A report can be given a share link. Anyone with that link can read the report, including the birth details in it, without signing in. Sharing is yours to switch on and off.

Refunds

A report is a digital good made to order. The work of producing it happens the moment you pay, it cannot be handed back, and once you have read it you have had the whole of what you bought. So the policy is short.

• If the report does not generate, you get your money back. That covers a report that fails outright, arrives empty or truncated, is charged for twice, or is materially not the sections you paid for. Tell us and we will refund you in full, or produce the report properly - whichever you would rather have.
• Otherwise there is no refund. Once a report has been generated and delivered, it exists and you have it. That includes changing your mind, and it includes not liking what the reading says. A reading that names difficulties as well as strengths is doing the thing it was sold to do.
• Where you have a statutory cancellation right that you have not validly waived, it stands regardless of anything above. Nothing here removes a right the law gives you.

To ask for a refund, email us from the address on your account with the order details. Please raise it with us before opening a dispute with your card issuer - a chargeback costs more to resolve and we would rather just sort it out.

Printed Copies

A printed book or an Atlas scroll is made for you after you order it, so it is not stock we can take back and resell. The promise is about defects and delivery rather than about changing your mind.

• Damaged, misprinted or faulty. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and send a photograph. We replace it and you keep the first one; there is nothing to send back.
• Wrong item, or no item. If the wrong thing arrives, or nothing does, we replace it or refund it in full, whichever you would rather have.
• Cancelling. You can cancel any time before it goes to the printer, and we do not charge before then. Once it is in production it cannot be cancelled, because it is being made for you alone.
• Our mistake. If the report is wrong because of an error on our side, the reprint is ours to pay for.
• Delivery times are estimated when we confirm the price, not promised in advance, while both products are in their first run.
• Your address is used once, to send that parcel, and erased once it arrives. It is not added to your profile.
• Statutory rights stand regardless of anything above, including any cancellation right you have not validly waived.

Gifts

A gift buys the report you chose. The code is shown once and cannot be looked up again.

You can buy a report for somebody else. You choose the package, and for a two-person relationship reading the same package covers both people. You are never asked for the recipient's birth details, and there is nowhere to put them: they enter their own, in their own account, when they redeem the code and are ready to.

• The code is shown once. It is stored only as a fingerprint, so nobody here can read it back to you afterwards, including an administrator. Print the certificate or copy the code before you leave the page. If a code is lost, get in touch and we will reissue or refund it rather than look it up.
• It is a bearer instrument. Whoever holds the code can redeem it. Treat it like a gift card.
• You may not redeem your own gift. A gift redeemed by its buyer is a report bought at gift prices, and the two are priced differently.
• Delivery is yours for now. A recipient address and a date can be recorded, but automatic delivery is not switched on yet, so you receive the code and hand it over yourself. The confirmation screen says so at the time.
• Refunds follow the section above, read against the gift rather than the recipient: an unredeemed gift can be refunded to the buyer, and once it has been redeemed and the report generated it is the recipient's report and the ordinary rule applies.

Age

Recommended term: you must be at least 18 to create an account, to buy a report, or to post in the forum. Eighteen rather than thirteen or sixteen, for three reasons: the site takes payments and a minor generally cannot form a binding contract; the material is interpretive and adult in tone; and the site collects birth data, which under both the UK and EU regimes and under COPPA in the United States is far more tightly regulated for children. Eighteen is also the simplest line to hold, because it does not vary by country.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under the minimum age we will close it and delete the data.

Readings About Other People

You may enter another person's birth details - that is the whole point of a relationship or family reading - but by doing so you confirm that you have their permission, or, for your own child, that you are entitled to give it on their behalf. Do not buy a reading about someone who would object to it. We cannot verify this and rely on you.

These apply whether you have bought anything or not.

Ownership and Copyright

The atlas - its correspondence data, written entries, artwork, code and design - belongs to Divinity Atlas and its licensors. You may read it, quote it reasonably with attribution, and link to it. You may not copy the dataset wholesale, scrape it, or republish it as your own.

Your report is yours to use personally. Read it, keep it, print it, share it with friends or family. What you may not do is resell it, publish it as a commercial product, or pass it off as your own professional service. Note that a report is generated text; we make no claim to hold copyright in it against you, and equally we cannot promise anyone that a generated text is unique.

The music linked from this site remains the property of its artist and is played through YouTube under YouTube's terms.

Liability

The site and its readings are provided as they are. We do not promise that the site will always be available, that a report will be free of errors, or that any statement in a reading is accurate as a matter of fact - see "not advice" above.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunities, or for any decision you make on the basis of a reading. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question. Where you have paid us nothing, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the resupply of the material in question.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded - including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer protection law that applies to you. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site, are governed by the law of the operator's place of business, and the courts of that place have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident somewhere else, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim in its courts where that law gives you one.

Before anything formal, please write to us. Nearly everything that has ever gone wrong here was fixable by somebody saying so.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole of the agreement between us about the site and anything bought through it. Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anybody else; we may transfer ours if the site changes hands, and your rights are unaffected if we do.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may change; the date at the top will say when. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published when you made it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
