The Dominican Province of St. Joseph is a province of the Order of Preachers formally erected in 1805, founded by Fr. Edward Dominic Fenwick to serve Catholic settlers on the Kentucky frontier. Its territory today spans sixteen states from Maine to Ohio and the District of Columbia, and it is among the fastest-growing men's religious communities in the United States. Its provincial offices are located on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
