Park East Synagogue is a Modern Orthodox congregation on Manhattan's Upper East Side, founded in 1888 as Congregation Zichron Ephraim. Its 1889-90 Moorish Revival synagogue building is a New York City landmark. The congregation was led for over five decades by Rabbi Arthur Schneier and hosts prominent civic and interfaith events alongside its regular religious life.
