The Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation is the North American body of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham, the Smarta monastery in Karnataka whose founding is attributed to Adi Shankara. Its Sri Sharada Temple stands at Stroudsburg in the Pocono hills of Pennsylvania.
