Communities of Zoroastrianism

This small group holds the communities and traditions of Zoroastrianism, the ancient Iranian religion that survives today chiefly among two historic communities. Their differences are as much matters of calendar, ritual detail and history as of doctrine.

The browser will find the Parsis of the Indian subcontinent, descended from Zoroastrians who migrated from Iran, and the Iranian Zoroastrians who remained. The entries describe each community's history and practice.
