Karmamudra is discussed within specific tantric literature associated with particular deity cycles and lineages, most prominently within Kalachakra and other highest yoga tantra systems, where it is presented as one of several possible completion stage methods for working with subtle body energy toward realisation, generally reserved within traditional teaching for advanced practitioners who have already completed substantial preliminary training and, in the fullest traditional presentation, most appropriately undertaken within a monastic or lay context according to specific lineage guidance rather than treated as broadly or casually available practice. Given its status as among the most restricted material in the entire Vajrayana tantric curriculum, requiring formal empowerment, established teacher guidance and considerable prior training as prerequisites the tradition itself insists upon, the atlas records here only karmamudra's conceptual place within tantric practice, its symbolic yab yum representation, and the tradition's own stated cautions about proper qualification, consistent with the empowerment bound precedent applied elsewhere in the atlas to comparably restricted completion stage material: never a description of the practice itself.
