From Dutch Advertising to Sacred Geometry Awards

LON, an artist who works publicly under that single name, was born and trained in the Netherlands, attending art school there before working in advertising and graphic arts. In the early 1990s she encountered crop circles, the large geometric patterns that periodically appear in agricultural fields and that some New Age traditions interpret as intentional or spiritually significant rather than as the human made artworks most investigations have found them to be, and became fascinated by their complex designs.

Over roughly two decades she developed that interest, alongside broader study of sacred geometry, into a full time creative and teaching practice, eventually founding Lon Art from her current base in San Diego, California, offering readings, an online course and individual sessions she calls soul portraits.

Her book, Modern Merlin, won a COVR Award, a prize given annually by the Coalition of Visionary Retailers for body, mind and spirit publishing, and her two oracle decks, the Sacred Geometry Activations Oracle and the Sacred Geometry of Relationships Oracle, won a Nautilus Book Award and a further COVR Award respectively. Both the crop circle phenomenon that shaped her early interest and the broader claims of sacred geometry as a channel for spiritual insight sit outside scientific consensus, and LON's own materials present them as a personal and artistic framework for reflection rather than as empirically verified claims.

Born Regina Eleonora Before the Single-Name Persona

This article records tradition as it has been passed down and reported. Its sources are not yet part of the atlas's verified catalogue.

LON is not the name on record at birth. She was born Regina Eleonora, and has also used the name Regina Lon, before settling professionally on the single word LON that now appears on her books, decks and gallery credits; her own biography and press materials rarely mention either earlier name, presenting the single-name persona as though it were simply how she has always been known.

That choice, working under one word rather than a full name, is unusual within the oracle deck and visionary art market, where creators more often publish under a conventional full name. Her debut deck, the Sacred Geometry Activations Oracle, was published in 2016 by Beyond Words Publishing before going on to win a Nautilus Book Award, and her book carries a fuller title her main biography shortens, Modern Merlin: Uncover Your Magic. That same single-name branding now extends across the lectures, workshops and individual sessions she offers from her San Diego base, everything carrying the LON name alone rather than crediting either Regina Eleonora or Regina Lon.

Whatever prompted the shift from Regina Eleonora, and later Regina Lon, to the single professional name LON is not addressed directly in her own published materials; the change in name sits alongside, and predates, the same period in which she moved from Dutch advertising work into the sacred geometry and crop circle inspired art that built her later career.
