Tore Wilhelm Tvedt (born 1943) is a Norwegian adherent of Germanic neopaganism who founded the extremist organisation Vigrid. In 2006 he was convicted under Norway's racism law over a 2003 newspaper interview in which he called Jews evil murderers and parasites; the conviction was overturned on appeal, then reinstated by the Supreme Court, which sent the case back to the appeals court, where the original verdict was affirmed in 2008. In 2009 Tvedt told the media that Vigrid should be shut down, though the organisation's subsequent leader disputed that he still had the authority to make that call.
