The Khatmiyya is a Sufi order or brotherhood founded by Sayyid Mohammed Uthman al-Mirghani al-Khatim. It is the largest Sufi order in Sudan and also has followers in Egypt, Chad, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Uganda, Yemen and India.
