Noorbakhshia

Noorbakhshia, also spelled Nurbakhshia, is a Sufi order primarily present in the Baltistan region of Pakistan, currently headed by Muhammad Nurani. It places significant emphasis on the concept of Muslim unity and on Fiqh ul-Ahwat, a concept of Islamic jurisprudence developed by Muhammad Nurbakhsh, and it traces a spiritual lineage known as the Silsila-e Zahab, or Golden Chain, claimed to extend from Ali to the future Mahdi through the twelve Imams. It is distinguished among Sufi orders within Islam by foundational principles rooted in the teachings of the Fourteen Infallibles, and its followers are known as Sufia Noorbakhshia.
