Custody History
Like most dispersed Mughal era manuscripts, the Khan-i Khanan Razmnama was broken up and its folios scattered across collections by art dealers in the twentieth century; this folio and its Arjuna companion piece both reached the Metropolitan Museum through the Rogers Fund in 1955, while other folios from the same original bound volume are held by institutions elsewhere. 1
