The Konkokyo Kyoten is Konkokyo's scripture, compiled from three parts: the Kyoten Konko Daijin Oboegaki, the founder Kawate Bunjiro's own memoirs; the Kyoten Oshirase-goto Oboe-cho, a record of the revelations he received; and the Kyoten Gorikai, a three volume collection of his teachings. Together they preserve the religion's founding events and its central teaching in the founder's own recorded words rather than in a later systematized creed.
