Christianity Today: SBC Task Force Asks for 'Ministry Check' Website, Other Reforms to Stop Sexual Abuse

Christianity Today's report, published 14 June 2022, on the Southern Baptist Convention's Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force presenting its recommendations to the denomination's annual meeting: a public "Ministry Check" website (sbcabuseprevention.com) listing individuals convicted or civilly judged liable for sexual abuse, and separately those credibly accused following an independent investigation; a national staff role to receive and route abuse reports; expanded background checks for entity trustees; and a proposed 3 million dollar budget allocation to fund the reforms, all recommendations arising directly from the Guidepost Solutions investigation's own findings.
