This is the standard anthology of Baha'u'llah's writings, compiled and translated by Shoghi Effendi, Guardian of the Baha'i Faith, first published in 1935 by the Baha'i Publishing Trust. As an authoritative compilation made by the Guardian himself, sanctioned by the Universal House of Justice and the Baha'i World Centre, it is the correct source for reference level Baha'i doctrine in the faith's own approved translation. Its limit is that it is a curated selection rather than the complete body of Baha'u'llah's writings, so a claim needing a passage outside this anthology's scope requires the fuller original corpus or another authorized compilation.
