Mennonite World Conference membership statistics, 2024

This is the Mennonite World Conference's own published return of baptized membership figures for its member churches for 2024, hosted on the Conference's own website, distinguishing the world communion's counted membership from a separately reported, wider estimate of the whole Anabaptist-Mennonite family that includes bodies outside the Conference's own membership. Its strength is that a communion's own membership return is the primary source for how many baptized members its constituent churches report to it, the standard basis for denominational size figures used across religious studies. Its limit is that member reported figures depend on each national church's own record keeping and reporting practices, which vary in rigor, and the figure counts only member bodies, so a claim about the size of the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition as a whole should use the Conference's own wider estimate rather than the narrower member count alone.
