Planck 2013 results. XXVI. Background geometry and topology of the Universe, from the Planck Collaboration operating the European Space Agency's Planck satellite, is a peer reviewed paper in Astronomy and Astrophysics reporting a matched-circles analysis that searched for and did not detect a Poincare dodecahedral or other small finite shape to the universe. Its strength is that it is a primary observational result from a major international collaboration, publicly archived and independently checkable by its own identifier. Its limit is that it is a technical cosmology paper; this atlas cites it only for the narrow fact that a specific proposed universe shape was tested and not found.
