The Global Consciousness Project

This is Roger D. Nelson's own account, hosted by Princeton University, of the Global Consciousness Project, a network of random-number generators he directs that is claimed to show statistically anomalous deviation around major world events. As the project's own self-description it is the correct source for what the project claims to do and how it describes its own method. Its limit is significant and the reason for its tier three placement, the site is the project's own presentation of its own results, not an independent statistical or scientific review, and the project's methodology and claimed significance have drawn substantial criticism from statisticians outside the project, so a claim about whether the reported effect is real needs an independent source.
