The Worcester Art Museum's own collection record and label text for "The Planets (Navagraha)," accession 1923.5, a yellow sandstone temple lintel from Uttar Pradesh, Central India, circa 550 to 575 CE. The label names the eight figures present from left to right: the Sun (Surya), the Moon (Chandra or Soma), Mercury (Budha), Venus (Shukra), Mars (Mangala or Bhauma), Jupiter (Brihaspati), Saturn (Shani), and the demon Rahu, the rising lunar node, noting that only eight of the nine Navagraha are present since Ketu is missing from the physical relief.
