Broadcasting Ministry

Christian organizations built specifically around radio or television as the ministry itself, not a church that merely also broadcasts: the Christian Broadcasting Network, Trinity Broadcasting Network and Eternal Word Television Network as programming networks, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and PTL Club as broadcast-centered evangelistic ministries, and National Religious Broadcasters as their trade association. Belongs here: an organization whose founding purpose is producing or coordinating religious broadcast media. Does not belong here: a general-audience station that also carries religious programming, grouped under public television station or radio station, and a denomination or order whose media arm is secondary to its wider mission.
