An Oracle Deck That Reads Reversed as Well as Upright

Les Vampires Oracle Cards is a forty four card deck Lucy Cavendish created with artwork by Jasmine Becket-Griffith, published by Blue Angel Publishing in 2014. It frames its guidance and healing messages through vampire figures drawn from folklore and popular gothic imagery rather than any single closed tradition, continuing Cavendish's pattern of oracle decks built around a mythic cast illustrated by a single fantasy artist, the same pairing used for Oracle of Shadows and Light, Oracle of the Shapeshifters and The Faerytale Oracle.

Structurally, Cavendish's decks are unusual within the oracle genre in using reversed as well as upright meanings, a convention most other oracle creators, including Kyle Gray and Doreen Virtue across their own catalogues, deliberately avoid in favor of upright only reading. That choice gives Les Vampires and Cavendish's other decks a wider range of possible readings per card than a same sized upright only deck would produce.
