From Dutch Advertising to Sacred Geometry Awards

LON, an artist who works publicly under that single name, was born and trained in the Netherlands, attending art school there before working in advertising and graphic arts. In the early 1990s she encountered crop circles, the large geometric patterns that periodically appear in agricultural fields and that some New Age traditions interpret as intentional or spiritually significant rather than as the human made artworks most investigations have found them to be, and became fascinated by their complex designs.

Over roughly two decades she developed that interest, alongside broader study of sacred geometry, into a full time creative and teaching practice, eventually founding Lon Art from her current base in San Diego, California, offering readings, an online course and individual sessions she calls soul portraits.

Her book, Modern Merlin, won a COVR Award, a prize given annually by the Coalition of Visionary Retailers for body, mind and spirit publishing, and her two oracle decks, the Sacred Geometry Activations Oracle and the Sacred Geometry of Relationships Oracle, won a Nautilus Book Award and a further COVR Award respectively. Both the crop circle phenomenon that shaped her early interest and the broader claims of sacred geometry as a channel for spiritual insight sit outside scientific consensus, and LON's own materials present them as a personal and artistic framework for reflection rather than as empirically verified claims.
