This article records tradition as it has been passed down and reported. Its sources are not yet part of the atlas's verified catalogue.
This Left Angle Cross of Incarnation completes its two role arrangements with this ordering, Gate 24 and Gate 44 exposed, the circling mind ahead of the instinctive read on people. Its first article reads Gate 24 as a mind circling the same thought repeatedly until it finally resolves, now the more exposed gate, and Gate 44 as an instinctive memory for people and patterns, a nose for who can be relied on. What it does not trace is where the four gates sit on the wheel itself, the Human Design mandala's division of its sixty four gates into four Quarters, and by that measure this ordering, like its counterpart, draws from only two of the four, not one from each.
Gate 24, the personality gate here, falls in the Quarter of Initiation, purpose fulfilled through mind. Gate 44, its personality partner, falls in the Quarter of Duality, purpose fulfilled through bonding. Behind them, Gate 13 falls in the same Quarter of Initiation as Gate 24, and Gate 7 falls in the same Quarter of Duality as Gate 44.
So the circling mind and the instinctive read the first article reads on this ordering's surface both answer to the arc of mind, while the listener's witness and the leadership role beneath them both answer to the arc of bonding, the same concentration the earlier ordering of Incarnation also carries however its two pairs are assigned to personality and design. With both arrangements in place, Incarnation's two gate pairs share the same two Quarter concentration regardless of order, a fact about the mandala rather than a claim about the strength of the reading it produces.
