The Right Angle Cross of Maya completes its four role arrangements with this ordering, Gate 62 and Gate 61 exposed. Its first article reads Gate 62 as detail, the organising of facts into a spoken order, and Gate 61 as the pressure to know the mystery behind existence. What it does not trace is where the four gates sit on the wheel itself, the Human Design mandala's division of its sixty four gates into four Quarters, and by that measure this cross draws one gate from each of the four.
Gate 62, the personality gate here, falls in the Quarter of Civilization, purpose fulfilled through form. Gate 61, its personality partner, falls in the Quarter of Mutation, purpose fulfilled through transformation. Behind them, Gate 42 falls in the Quarter of Initiation, purpose fulfilled through mind, and Gate 32 falls in the Quarter of Duality, purpose fulfilled through bonding.
So the naming of facts and the pressing after mystery the first article reads on this ordering's surface answer to the arcs of form and transformation, while the drive to finish and the caution about lasting beneath them answer to the arcs of mind and bonding, the same four arcs the rest of the Maya family draws on however its two pairs are assigned to personality and design. With this fourth arrangement in place, every role rotation of Maya's two gate pairs shares the same wheel wide spread, one gate from each Quarter regardless of order.
