Bible Communism: A Compilation from the Annual Reports and Other Publications of the Oneida Association

This is the Oneida Association's own nineteenth century compilation, drawn from its annual reports and other publications, setting out its communal economics grounded in its own religious doctrine. As the community's own primary publication it is the correct source for how the Oneida Association itself explained and justified its communal and religious economic arrangements. Its limit is that it is the community's own self presentation to outside readers, not an independent historical or sociological assessment of how those arrangements actually functioned in practice or why the community eventually dissolved, so a claim about that wider history needs an independent historical source.
