That grounding in the technical primary sources, in the tradition of Needham's own documentary method, is the real basis for using it here. This record has not independently traced a documented history of scholarly disagreement with the author's specific readings. Use it for the historical and technical content of Chinese mathematical astrology.FactsClaims Backed By This Source (422 claims)Comments (0)Reader Challenges (0 open reader challenges)FactsAssessmentReliability TierWell-attested1A scholarly study from the Needham Research Institute's own series continuing Joseph Needham's project of documenting Chinese science through primary technical texts, tracing the sexagenary cycle and the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches.NotesWell-attestedNeedham Research Institute series.
