Manual of the Church of the Nazarene

This is the Church of the Nazarene's own official Manual, the denomination's primary statement of its doctrine and polity, covering its Wesleyan-Arminian theology, its distinctive teaching of entire sanctification as a second definite work of grace following conversion, and its practice of open communion. As the church's own current governing document it is the correct source for what Nazarene doctrine states today, published and maintained by the denomination itself. Its limit is exactly that institutional voice, it states doctrine as the church itself currently holds it rather than describing the wider Wesleyan-Holiness movement of which the Nazarenes are one part, so a claim about Holiness theology generally, beyond this one denomination's specific formulation, needs a source with that broader scope.
