Adar II, the leap month inserted in seven years of every nineteen so the lunisolar Hebrew calendar keeps pace with the solar year and the festivals stay in their season. It is the only kind of month that does not recur every year, since a leap month exists only in the years it is added. Excludes the twelve regular months, which recur every year without exception.
