Bhagavad Gita groups the eighteen chapters, each traditionally called a yoga, into which the text divides its dialogue between the warrior Arjuna and his charioteer Krishna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. The grouping follows the text's own internal division rather than any later commentary's scheme, the same principle used for every other scripture broken out by portion in this category.
