Volkisch Societies

The Germanenorden, founded in Germany in 1912, fused Freemasonic lodge structure with a Volkisch racial ideology that had no place in the older Masonic and Rosicrucian orders it borrowed its form from. This group holds societies organised around that nineteenth and early twentieth century Volkisch nationalist current specifically, a current whose later entanglement with Nazism cannot be separated from any honest account of it, kept apart here from the older esoteric lineages it imitated in structure but not in aim.
